B Btry 1/1 ADA, which was formerly known as A Btry 6/562 ADA was stationed in Wildflecken since 1969.
In 1987 1/1 ADA reflagged as 3/52 ADA. The B Btry 1/1 (and later 3/52) operated the “HAWK-Site” at the training area.
The other Batteries operated similar “HAWK-Sites” in Fulda and Bad Kissingen-Reiterswiesen.
In 1976 the HQ-company 1/1 ADA also moved from Butzbach to Wildflecken.
The Battalion deactivated on 15 July 1992.
